Back in 2019, I was working with individual clients who kept asking the same questions. They'd heard about stocks making people rich overnight, but they couldn't separate fact from fiction. The education materials out there were either too academic or too sales-focused.

That's when we realized there was a real gap. People needed honest, practical education about how markets actually work – not get-rich-quick schemes or complicated theories they'd never use.

Lars Bergström

Lead Financial Educator

Lars has been helping Canadians understand market fundamentals since 2015. He started in traditional financial advisory but got frustrated watching clients make decisions they didn't really understand.

His background includes work with both retail and institutional investors, which gives him insight into how markets actually function versus how they're often portrayed. He believes education should be practical and honest – you'll never hear him promise overnight success or guaranteed returns.

When he's not teaching, Lars enjoys hiking in Ontario's provincial parks and reading about behavioral economics.
